Tulsa is only 3.5 hours from Kansas City, so it's a relatively quick drive. It just so happens that one of my bridesmaids that lives in Kansas City, had a birthday the same weekend of our would be wedding, so we felt like we needed to celebrate! Joke's on us because we had to cancel that too due to safety concerns with Covid, quarantining, etc. We knew we wanted to do something fun that weekend so we weren't stuck at home thinking about it, so we decided to plan a trip with our friends to Destin, Florida. If you've been following for any length of time, you know that we made the decision to cancel it about three months ago. Our wedding was supposed to be July 11, 2020. I had so many questions about River Spirit Casino, that I figured it would be easier to write a quick post on it!
